Coach Dion Dobranski

With over 30 years of experience as both a player and coach, I bring a lifelong passion and deep commitment to the game of basketball. My 13 years of coaching span various levels, including middle school, high school, AAU, and club teams, allowing me to work with athletes of all ages and skill levels.

During my time in South Carolina, I spent three impactful years with the Manzer Basketball Academy, where I helped develop young athletes in the highly competitive AAU circuit. This experience honed my ability to guide players toward reaching their full potential.

In 2022, I founded YXE Elite Basketball Club in Saskatchewan with the mission of cultivating talent and instilling a love for the game. Through this program, I aim to provide opportunities for players to grow both on and off the court while preparing them for the next level of competition.

Favorite Basketball Player: The GOAT, LeBron James. His dedication to maintaining both a healthy mind and body throughout his career is unmatched. Seeing him play alongside his son is a testament to his legacy.

Fun Fact: I spent 6 transformative years in South Carolina immersed in the AAU basketball scene. This experience shaped me as a coach, teaching me the level of grit and dedication required for athletes to reach the next level.
