Circuit Team Coach
With over 20 years of experience in basketball as both a player and coach, B Kenyan brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to the game. Starting his basketball journey in Florida, B Kenyan played at Lauderhill Middle School and Boyd Anderson High School before moving to Toronto, where he joined the AAU team Prep Stars and went on to win numerous championships.
As a coach, B Kenyan emphasizes the importance of focusing on the little details—believing that small improvements lead to big results on and off the court. He draws inspiration from his favorite player, Dwyane Wade, admiring his mid-range game, court vision, leadership, and ability to perform under pressure. This philosophy resonates throughout his coaching style, encouraging players to not only develop their skills but also their basketball IQ and mental toughness.
Fun Fact: Coach BK is also reggae artist, a celebrity barber, an actor, and a teacher. A highlight of his career was touring across Canada with hip-hop legends Ice Cube and Snoop Dogg, showcasing his diverse talents and ability to connect with people from all walks of life.
